INDORE: Congress workers on Saturday put up ‘missing’ posters of state minister Vijay Shah across the city, offering a reward of Rs 11,000 to anyone who finds the Harsud MLA who reportedly was ‘untraceable’ after making controversial remarks against Col Sofiya Qureshi.“We received information that he went underground, he is missing,” district Congress Sevadal acting president Vivek Khandelwal said, pointing at the fact that Shah was also absent from the recent cabinet meeting held in Indore. He said that a state minister going ‘missing’ in this manner indicates failure of state’s home department. Khandelwal accused the BJP and the state govt of protecting Shah, despite widespread calls for his removal from across the country, including the entire opposition and several leaders within the ruling party. The posters put up at major intersections on Saturday, read: ‘Missing: A suitable reward will be given to the one who finds him.’ The Congress pledged to continue its protest until Vijay Shah tendered his resignation.
